The flu is awful and can even be deadly. In fact, several deaths have been reported this year in addition to about nine thousand confirmed flu-related hospitalizations.
According to Dr. Adrian Cotton from the Southern California hospital, many patients were hospitalized because of the flu and they were much sicker than usual. The public health agency claims that flu symptoms usually start suddenly instead of gradually, with signs varying from one person to another.
Although we’re no longer in February (when the virus is at its peak), it’s important to stop doing some flu-causing things in order to stay healthy in every season. After all, a runny nose, aching body, crazy fever, and the overall unbearable discomfort are one of the worst symptoms we all wish to never experience again.
