#3 – Thick with Clots
Blood is known to turn solid and appear as clots, which is something normal. But, it could also have another meaning. If you noticed that the clots are bigger than the shape of a raisin, then you can start worrying.
Thick period blood that contains clots may be indicative of a hormonal imbalance, an abnormal pregnancy, low progesterone, or high estrogen levels. However, this condition should not scare you. You can consult your doctor if you noticed something unusual.
