When the brain is bored, it sends signals that are similar to when we are hungry. The hard part is when you can’t tell the difference between a biological need and an emotional craving! This condition is very common especially after having a long stressful day, but eating for no good reason leads to guilt, weight gain, and eating disorders.

So, next time you feel hungry after having a big meal, stand up and have a conversation with yourself like you are your own therapist, and drink water or any other fluids because dehydration confuses the body’s needs of water to boredom and hunger, too.
