Try to wash your hand as frequently as possible to get rid of all the germs. If you are coughing or sneezing, do it into your elbow or into a tissue, this way the germs will not spread as easily, since our hands are what is in most frequent contact with germy surfaces. Carry a hand sanitizer or antimicrobial wipes with you.

If there is anyone around you who is suffering from strong coughs or feeling feverish, avoid contact as much as possible. The disease spreads easily, so you won’t want to go anywhere near anyone who is showing symptoms of this virus.

If you are the one experiencing any of the symptoms we have described – trouble breathing, high fever and consistent cough, see a doctor as soon as possible, share all of your recent traveling information with them and get tested. Remember, it isn’t just your health that is at stake here.

Since many cities in China are in quarantine, the best way to prevent this virus is by avoiding traveling to China. If you had a trip scheduled, your safety must come first, so avoid traveling to the country, particularly the Hubei province.

Protecting yourself from the Coronavirus is important, but there are other viruses you should be worried about as well – fever and chills, a sore throat and a runny nose, alongside muscle pain, can indicate that you have the flu. This is something you can prevent by getting vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control have come forward to let the world know that they are not quite sure about how the virus is spreading exactly. Person-to-person contamination is likely to happen through the coughing or sneezing of a sick person, which will result in respiratory droplets. By touching a surface or an object that contains the virus, and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes, there is also a risk of contamination, and this is why having a hand sanitizer with you at all times is super important.
If you have visited Wuhan, or any other place in China, or have been in contact with anyone who has been to the country, and suddenly you are experiencing any of the symptoms we have already described, it is mandatory that you seek a professional medical opinion right away.
