There are a few antibiotics that have an influence on our skin and its sensitivity to ultraviolet rays, like sulfone, tetracycline, and fluoroquinolone.
So if you are exposed to the sunlight more than usual while taking the antibiotic, then your chances of getting sunburn increase. Also, the same drugs could cause a rash, even if you spent only 15 minutes in the sunlight.
The best solution is to avoid being completely exposed to the sun from 10 am to 3 pm, cover your skin, and use sunscreen.
