High blood sugar symptoms could also reveal themselves in your eyes. When you are having excessive amounts of glucose in your system (or when you have type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes) you could end up having problems in your retina.

This is a health condition called diabetic retinopathy, and some of its symptoms include extra floaters and blurred vision.

As always losing problems with your vision may not be associated with type 1 or type 2 diabetes symptoms, but it can be one of their early warnings sometimes. So make sure you get yourself a glucometer and run a blood sugar test.
