#10 – Candy Corn
This sugary, sticky, loaded-of-fake-ingredients candy is a Halloween-favorite for many people. Looking at their nutritional value, they’re actually a big trick.
As a matter of fact, candy brands that include “real honey” as an ingredient still stuff in just one serving (equal to 19 pieces) with multiple artificial colors and specifically 28 g of sugar!
Not only your health and weight, your teeth are likely to suffer too because candy corn is so chewy and sticky, increasing your risk of cavities.
#11 – Sour Patch Kids
This fruity-flavored candy is definitely not derived from real fruits or even contains some real ingredients. Sour Patch Kids are packed with corn syrup, sugar, artificial flavors, and artificial colors. These sweets are everything but nutritious.
Although the FDA considers Yellow 5 as a safe artificial additive, other scientific studies say otherwise. It is said that some manufacturers actually responded to consumer concern and replaced the harmful food dyes with natural alternatives. To stay safe, always say no to candy.
I eat insanely healthy, but when it comes to these once in a while goodies that my family loves I really don’t care if they are made with ground goat testicles lol
None of them should be around home. Those are sugar deposits. Try to stay away from any of those candies
Thank you for your edition about the 21g of sugar in candies. I stopped buying them for awhile now.
