Have you ever noticed that the special menu is always rubbed in our faces by waiters every time? There are two options why they would do that:
1- The special menu is very special and needs to be tasted by every human being.
2- Chefs put their special menu every time based on the foods that are about to expire.
According to Alberto Morreale, the chef, and owner of Farmer’s Bottega in San Diego, the second option is the correct one. However, he said that instead of trying the special menu, you could ask the server to recommend you something made from local ingredients, or that just came fresh today.
Here’s a good one; don’t eat out.
