#2 – Oysters
If you never heard of “don’t eat fish on Monday” debate yet, then let us educate you. Most fish markets don’t deliver fish on weekends, which means that restaurants have to serve fish that is a few days old.
There is a wild debate going on between freshness-loving chefs, and others who just don’t mind, and since we can’t know which chef we might deal with on Mondays, it is better to stay safe and avoid fish completely.
Oysters, However, is another dilemma. Mark Nichols, a Cordon Bleu-trained chef admits that he would never order Oysters if they were harvested 100 miles from the restaurant because if they were handled or stored incorrectly, they may be poisonous and would kill you. I think we can handle a life without Oysters, right?
Here’s a good one; don’t eat out.
Very good and helpful
