This plant belongs to the seven species of flowering plants in the family Solanaceae Their large, fragrant flowers that can measure up to 50cm long and 35cm wide at their openings give them their common name of angel’s trumpets.
They are considered to be highly poisonous containing dangerous levels of scopolamine and atropine chemicals in every part of them including the leaves, flowers, seeds, and roots. Therefore, ingesting the plant is enough to put an end to your life and cause your death!
