4. String cheese

Who doesn’t like cheese? I don’t know anyone who doesn’t. And cheese is good food that will help you get a good night’s sleep. Especially part-skim mozzarella, which will provide you with a good amount of protein and help your body and mind start relaxing. Slice some of this cheese in small sticks – or squares, or whatever you find more appealing – and eat those just like that or with some crackers, whole-grain ones.

5. Oatmeal

Other properties of herbal teas are: it calms down your nerves, they’re a stomach-soothing, and perfect to hydrate your body. Just don’t drink too much, or you may keep waking up to go to the bathroom. Warm a small cup of your favorite blend, eat some pistachios or almonds, and you’ll have that sleep you’ve been looking for.
