#10 – Watery Fruits
Fruits with high water content will ice over in the freezer, causing them to soften and turn doughy. And once the ice melts away, you’ll end up with some very unappetizing produce that you obviously won’t eat. Watery fruits include cantaloupe, watermelon, apples, etc.
As a matter of fact, the best way to turn fresh juicy fruits into a soggy dull mess is to place them in the freezer.
Remember to never leave anything more than 9 months in the freezer! Let your food thaw normally for the best results. Let hot food cool before going into the freezer. And use airtight freezer-friendly containers.
Eggs? Really, there has to be an article to tell people they can’t put eggs and canned goods in the freezer!
I know some people absolutely love frozen grapes.
Freeze grapes all the time and eat frozen. Freeze lemons in air tight wrappings and thaw in refrigerator and they are still nice and juicy.
