#9 – Breadcrumbs
Never place breadcrumbs in the freezer. We know that many recipes require breadcrumbs and it can be hard to know the exact amount you’ll need before you begin. So when you end up with extra breadcrumbs, you’re usually tempted to store in the freezer for the next recipe. This is a big common mistake.
In fact, breadcrumbs are likely to turn unpleasantly soft and pasty when stored in the freezer, so the best thing is to make fresh ones for each use. This also applies to foods with breadcrumbs toppings. You should defrost, then re-make the crumb topping.
Eggs? Really, there has to be an article to tell people they can’t put eggs and canned goods in the freezer!
I know some people absolutely love frozen grapes.
Freeze grapes all the time and eat frozen. Freeze lemons in air tight wrappings and thaw in refrigerator and they are still nice and juicy.
