#8 – Thawed Food
Freezing thawed food could make you seriously sick. While thawing, the microorganisms that weren’t killed at low temperatures will grow. So if you refreeze the defrosting food, the number of bacteria will rise to reach dangerous and harmful levels.
But if you really need to re-freeze that thawed food, you should make sure to cook it after thawing, then, you can re-freeze it since the bacteria would have died during the cooking process.
Eggs? Really, there has to be an article to tell people they can’t put eggs and canned goods in the freezer!
I know some people absolutely love frozen grapes.
Freeze grapes all the time and eat frozen. Freeze lemons in air tight wrappings and thaw in refrigerator and they are still nice and juicy.
