#6 – Badly Packaged Food
Before placing any food in the freezer, you need to make sure that it is in airtight or in properly wrapped containers, otherwise, it might get freezer burn. Even though food with freezer burn can still be safe to consume, its color, quality, smell, and texture will all be awfully affected.
If you leave badly packaged food in the freezer, it would look far less appealing after thawing. Never forget to recheck whether the containers are tightly sealed before storing them in the freezer (or anywhere else!)
Eggs? Really, there has to be an article to tell people they can’t put eggs and canned goods in the freezer!
I know some people absolutely love frozen grapes.
Freeze grapes all the time and eat frozen. Freeze lemons in air tight wrappings and thaw in refrigerator and they are still nice and juicy.
