There are two existing types of cholesterol, namely the LDL, which is the unhealthy type and the HDL, the good one. However, the bad cholesterol can be removed and dislodged when HDL levels increase in the blood.
Hence, to increase the good type of cholesterol, you should start following the Mediterranean diet, which is mostly based on consuming healthy and valuable ingredients such as grains, vegetables, fruits, and olive oil.
