In Japan, Katsuzo Nishi was a very weak and fragile boy whom doctors didn’t believe that he would live to turn 20. His parents thought it would be best if they sent him to a Buddhist Monastery where he can learn swordplay techniques and different meditation. It turned out that his parents were correct. Today, Nishi is an Aikido Teacher and an engineer.
That’s not it, Nishi was curious to learn other ways to improve his health so he read many books of modern doctors with a lot of ancient treatises about the European and Eastern medicine, then he wrote his own book about ways to strengthen the body and make it healthier. He was 44 years old when the book was published in 1927.
