Detecting these silent signs of colon cancer could save your life or that of your beloved ones. Although many of us assume that cancer only becomes a serious threat after the age of 60, it turns out not to be totally true.
According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer rates had been increasing among people aged between 20 and 40. Also, in 2018 alone, nearly 140,000 people are expected to be diagnosed with this deadly disease.
The good news is colorectal cancer can be preventable by maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle, as well as a fiber-rich diet with whole grains and various fruits and veggies.
Additionally, if detected in the early stages (before the precancerous polyps manage to progress to cancer), the survival rate can be around 92 percent!
