To take good care of your hair, then instead of a usual towel, opt for a microfiber towel that can absorb water without causing any frizziness or breakage. And if you have to use a hairdryer, then it’s best to hold it at least 6 inches away from your hair. Following this daily habit will be the reason for your dull, brittle hair, and you will not even know why! 

4. You use elastic hair bands

If you like to go full Ariana Grande when it comes to ponytails and top knots, keep in mind that you are causing extreme damage, especially if you do it daily.  But if these hairstyles are a part of your daily habits, then try to avoid the elastic hair bands because their twists can cause great pressure on your hair, thus, breakage. You can opt for a spiral hair tie or rubber band that is covered with fabric. Not only will it keep your hair protected, but it’s also fashionable.

5. You use the conditioner wrong

Using the conditioner is a must after shampooing because the latter can stip your hair from all moisture. Plus, a good conditioner will heel your locks nourished, soft, and moisturized. But if this daily habit is used wrongly, then expect damages!  The hair conditioner should be applied to the roots or it will weigh down your hair, make it greasy, and clog up the roots. For the best results, use your conditioner only on the lengths and ends of your hair. Make sure to make this a hair care routine!

6. You use dry shampoo too often

It’s true that dry shampoo is one of the greatest inventions for lazy people, especially those with oily hair. But making it a daily habit will lead you to the deep regret and unhealthy hair. Dry shampoo can lead to an itchy, dry, and flaky scalp.  In return, the unhealthy scalp will prevent new hairs from growing while causing the existing ones to fall intensively. Also, you will be dealing with dandruff, which is an issue that is almost impossible to heal from.
