4. Your lips

Many people, mostly women, rush to plastic surgeons to remove lines and the little wrinkles that develop around the lips. But they fail to understand that many people develop them from a very young age, and those are signs you have a fun, joyful life. You don’t need to eliminate those wrinkles to improve the youthful appearance of this body part. If anything, smiles make you look younger. But you can help the collagen by eating lots of antioxidants, like leafy green vegetables and berries. You should also try to cut back on smoking (or quit!) because it damages the skin around your mouth.

5. Your eyes

The skin around your eyes is the thinnest of any other body part, which is why fine lines begin to appear very early. To protect that sensitive area, you need to up your game and make a little more effort for a more youthful appearance. First, and most importantly, sunscreen SPF 30 or higher, always pay attention to when wearing contacts, and it’s best to wear sunglasses when it’s really sunny out. At night, you can clean your eyes with a gentle eye makeup remover to avoid hurting the skin, and for more stubborn makeup, a cotton pad that has been soaked for 10 seconds will do the trick. Lastly, don’t forget to hydrate and consider an eye serum because it can penetrate the skin deeper.

6. Your hair

Silver and gray hair has become a fashion trend that many men and women go for, regardless of their age. So the color doesn’t really give away your age as much as its quality. If you have dry, thin, and brittle hair due to age and years of mistreatments, then you will definitely look older. Just like any other body part, your hair needs hydration and care constantly. Just like the skin, hair gets affected by the sun and dry heat. Don’t count only on the water you drink daily, but also start doing masks and treatments regularly. If you are busy or lazy, you can start applying a few oils 30 minutes before you shower, like olive, avocado, coconut, or argan oil. It’s best if all of them are mixed together for excellent and quick results. When styling your hair, you can consider switching to natural products. They are actually much more effective to tame frizz and nourish your hair follicles. Avoid harmful hair dyes and heat styling products, or make sure you are deep conditioning to create a balance.
