Chewing gum may be our savior when we are willing to meet other people or when we have an important meeting/interview after having our meal. It is the perfect solution since we can’t always carry our toothbrush and toothpaste with us in our pockets or purses.
However, it still has a negative impact on us because while chewing it, the stomach and brain receive signals that prepare us for an incoming meal. Plus, it triggers the stomach acid causing it to be overproduced, which means, feeling hungry, which also means more food and more calories!
