Normally, your resting heart rate should be between 60 to 80 healthy beats per minute and if it gets above this number, then, you should worry! According to an analysis from the CMAJ, a resting heart that beats more than 90 beats a minute is more likely to stop and eventually the person will die.
However, there is always a way to lower your high heart rate and this should be through taking regular walks, avoiding stress, and quitting smoking. Also, don’t hesitate to add more physical exercise into your daily routine as this shall impact your heart rate and health too!
