Shortness of breath can mean anything, really. It could be as simple as your body is desperate for more exercise or it could mean something as dangerous as cancer.

If you have been experiencing shortness of breath frequently and without even doing tiring exercises, then you should start getting worried. Many people would start losing their breath when doing the least of activities, like climbing a few steps or just walking for a few minutes, which is abnormal.

If you see yourself as one of those people, then it is not a bad idea to be concerned and to get tested.

Bleeding

Bleeding is an abnormal condition no matter when or how it happens (except periods, of course!). There are a few types of bleeding that should never be ignored because they could indicate cancer.
However, we have collected a few serious bleeding conditions that could be caused by other conditions, but they can also be signs of cancer. If you ever experience one of these following, then you need to schedule an appointment with your doctor:

• Hemoptysis; coughing up blood.

• Hematuria; blood in the urine.

• Blood in stool.

• Blood breast discharge.

• Abnormal spotting.
