We know that it’s quite hard to give up your morning cup of coffee, tea, or soda but according to a study published by the American Journal of Psychiatry, 22 % out of 80 psychiatric patients confessed that they overconsume caffeine.

This 22% was found more prone to develop issues like depression and anxiety than those who consume less caffeine. This helped researchers come to the conclusion that the overconsumption of caffeine can increase the risk for depression and anxiety.

So, if you are battling depression, then, you have to stop drinking coffee and other caffeinated drinks, at least until you are feeling better.
