#1 – TILAPIA AND CODFISH

Tilapia is a breeding fish that’s commonly found in China. These fish are one the most toxic and unhealthiest species out there and are considered as bottom feeders. A tilapia would eat anything (which is both dangerous and gross!)

You should avoid buying this fish at all costs! Moreover, it is well known that in China seafood producers don’t allow their children to eat these products, which is enough to make you suspicious. What’s worse is that 80% of Tilapia in the US comes from China.

And the fact that they swim in polluted environments and can feed on any possible thing is not quite appealing, while the breeding Cod is no better than the Tilapia. Eating these types of fish is very dangerous, not to say deadly.

#2 – APPLE JUICE

Since Quebec is a major producer of apples, the juice that we find here is mostly local. However, China still exports a lot of processed apple products, especially juice.

This juice is often found in the category of cheap products. Its taste is often similar to a mixture of fruity and acidic flavors because it comes from poor quality fruits. In 2011, Dr. Mehmet Oz reported that apple juice from China contained a very high amount of arsenic.

Moreover, another research published in Consumer Reports magazine showed that 10% of the apple juice we consume exceeds the allowed arsenic levels, in addition to the fact that the arsenic found in these products wasn’t organic, but rather toxic and highly dangerous.

  1. Why does the United States allow these dangerous food products into our country.my first thought is money..corporate greed!!.we should all buy more produce. that’s locally grown..as well the money stays in our country..

    • Naaa… It’s more like we don’t have enough agents and lab time to inspect all that stuff. I imagine if we did check it all out…every single shipment, it would be so expensive (and the food would rot on the dock) that no one would buy it. Most of it is good food, but its the crap that gets the media attention and scares the heck out of us. If we did have enough inspectors, we probably wouldn’t have as much illegal drugs coming in as well.

    • I agree. It’s sad when the number one priority is making money and not making sure the food is safe.

    • From this article I know that industrial salt is american’s food,as I know who sell industrial salt in china as food will be sent to jail

  2. I agree with the above comment. Also, I wonder on another level, if the large corporations want you to not buy Chinese produced items so that your money supports particular corporations.

  3. Just another way for China to take over our country without engaging us in a war. Just poison us all.

  4. Yep. It’s all about the $$$

  5. The USA doesn’t allow China products with dangerous food substance , but China developed some ways to try to trick american supervision. Looking for the honey chinese case.

  6. It is sickening that our government would allow this poison to enter our food supply. Who can we trust any more?
